How to use the HandyVac 1.0 Gold Sucker

Step One: Hold the body in one hand and pull on the handle, material and water will be moving up to the tube, blockage is possible at the nozzle, aim at a container or your pan and gently push down, you might have to pull and push repeatedly to loosen the obstruction, once clear proceed

Step Two: After a few pull, most of the heavier materials will settle in the chamber, once in a while you should tap on the body to send the heavier materials to the bottom, like panning. You will know from the type of ground when to stop and purge the materials from the body.

Step Three: To empty the body, remove upper cap, and pull the handle slowly, shake the gasket in your container (you never know!). Blocking the nozzle with your finger add water to the tube, shake well and tilt the tube while using your hand as a flapper, this is to minimize splashing of the materials and water into your container. The more careful the better the recovery. Repeate flushing until all materials have broke loose (been removed).

Step Four: Now you are ready to proceed. It is not a bad idea to rinse or flush your tube once at home with a garden hose, I have personnaly recovered gold more than once that way. If any surface corrosion appears, all that is needed is a scrub with a scotch pad, and your on your way! Please be warned stainless treads are sharp, use caution while removing or installing treaded parts.
