The map is supposed to be the real location of the Treasure of Lima, which is not Cocos Island, as many have believed in the past, but an unknown island located of the coast of Central America. The Lue Treasure Map
Some believe this coded map was created by the Spanish others belive it was created by the Nazis. This map is something like the fictional map shown in the movie National Treasure. The symbols look like they could be from a Masonic source. The all seeing eye as pictured on the American Dollar bill is on this map as well as many other symbols. It would make sense if it was a Nazi map as they are said to have used codes which they got from the Masons who got them from the Knights Templar. Who's codes the Nazis where said to have discovered in there secret excavations in France. This map was an obsession for the famous treasure hunter Karl Von Mueller. The Treasure of Cocos Island
Cocos island is the most famous treasure island in lost treasure history. It inspired Rober Louis Stevenson to write his great book treasure island. It has inspired hundreds of treasure hunters over the years. Some have been successful but most have not. I believe there is still much to be found on Cocos but one would have to be a daring treasure hunter to try as it is now a park.
